The site has much more content, so organizing the site was a priority. The old site’s content was hard to find and often only accesible if directed from the sitemap page. The new site is easy to follow and the navigation is consistent throughout.

I was named executive director of the Miss Chicago Scholarship Association late 2008. I designed and developed the new website for the big event in a matter of days. Of course, the site grew as more information and time piled on, but I wanted to create a clean and eye-catching design in hopes to recruit contestants and sponsors. The biggest attraction was Miss Photogenic, a contest where contestants submitted their photograph and bio for everyone to cast their vote for Miss Chicago’s Most Photogenic scholarship. After the pageant,  I’ve been maintaining the site with updated information regarding our 2010 event and the latest news about our titleholders. Visit the site: misschicago.org
